    Today’s shoppers are digitally savvy, expect seamless shopping experiences, and show little loyalty if retailers don’t actively provide added value and transparency. They seek inspiration, education, and solutions – not just products.

    Personalisation offers great potential – but only if it genuinely solves problems, is implemented with trust (e.g. through transparent data usage), and avoids algorithmic bias. Shoppers expect control over their preferences.

    The line between online and offline is blurring. Retailers need to create a unified, inspiring shopping experience – both in-store and digitally. This means understanding customer needs and translating them into tailored, practical solutions.

    More and more consumers think circular and consciously. Retailers should prepare to credibly integrate sustainable concepts – for example, through clear information, eco-friendly offerings, or recycling and resale models.
