By mea.suring NOx content in exhaust gas before andafter urea injection to achieve closed-loop man-agement,it provides a basis for the control ofurea injection volumein exhaust aftertreatmentsystem and ensures the accuracy of urea injection volume in reduction reaction.
Design and Functions
The sensor consists of a probe and a sensor controlunit (SCU) connected to one another via a wiringharness. This sensor unit is installed in the exhaustgas system and is used to monitor the level of nitro-gen oxide being emitted by a diesel vehicle to ensurecompliance with emissions regulations.
