The three Wise Men with their gi s have mingled with the shepherds. Mary and Joseph stand devoutly in front of the child in the manger. The starlight is focused on the newborn. But the light shines back and points to the cross – the completion of Christ‘s life. The Sermon on the Mount – Jesus spreads his arms wide over the people – the world. Angels blowing trumpets between the fl ames of the candles stand for promulgation and revelation.
