Intelligent building automation is playing an increasingly important role in both residential and functional buildings. Preventing hacker attacks on the digital infrastructure of networked buildings is becoming increasingly important. Thanks to KNX Secure, the new Hager actuators now offer optimal protection because the system cannot be penetrated from outside either via the network or the bus cable. To activate KNX Secure, each actuator is equipped with a (removable) code that is scanned or entered manually into ETS. In addition, each actuator has a clearly printed Unique ID, which not only clearly identifies the product, but also enables access to comprehensive product documentation. Firmware updates can be carried out via the ETS app. All new actuators can be put into operation with both ETS and easy. The resulting slimmed down portfolio also makes the ordering process less complicated.
