History
We were established in 1998 with the goal of protecting the world from danger and illness. In 2010, we began developing and manufacturing our own innovative brand of x-ray security screening systems. Today, we are the only x-ray baggage screening system manufacturer in Turkey, and we are one of only a handful of manufacturers in the entire world who produces x-ray screening systems that have been tested and approved by the United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC). TSA and ECAC employ the highest testing standards in our industry to ensure the protection of the world’s air transportation systems. In just one decade, XRC has grown from a small national manufacturer to one that has over thirty different products deployed in every continent in the world except Antarctica.

In 2020, we responded to the Covid-19 pandemic by expanding our mission to protect the world from exposure to deadly pathogens, including SARS-CoV-2. We invested a great deal of our financial and human resources into developing systems that could reduce the risk of spreading SARS-CoV-2. The result is a new line of innovative products that use UVC light to disinfect surfaces containing pathogens, including a tunnel type baggage disinfection system that eliminates 99.99% of SARS-CoV-2 and other viruses and 99.9% of bacterial pathogens.

The founder of X-Ray Center is Agop Havluciyan whose guiding principle in life and business can be summed up in one word: INTEGRITY. So at the heart of everything we do is integrity. This is our True North, and in an industry which serves to protect people from harm, there is nothing more important than that principle. It guides our research and development, it guides our commitment to quality, it guides our after-sales maintenance and service, and it guides how we treat our customers, our suppliers and our employees. This one quality is the reason why XRC quickly became a trusted brand within our native country of Turkey, and it is the reason why we have been able to grow our business worldwide in a short period of time.
